Hi, my name is John Latay!

I'm a dental-assistant-turned-product-designer that has studied both UX/UI Design and Business Entrepreneurship at Simon Fraser University.

I love to get into the details in understanding a user's needs and advocate for them in designs that connect with business goals. In all my projects and work experiences, I'm in my element when working with others and bouncing ideas, listening carefully to diverse perspectives.

Today, I continue to focus on offering my skills in creating human-centered solutions for tech-based problems and brainstorming a plethora of new design and business ideas with friends.

In my spare time, you can find me satisfying my unhealthy obsession for bubble tea or sushi and ready for any challenge to a game of badminton on the court.
